Bethel Music Orlando Concert reviews
But, I would have liked to hear some songs off Neverland and Addicted to the Mojo, not to mention a longer set. All the bands were good, even though 2 of the 3 bands were without their original lead singers. I'm glad Night Ranger stuck largely to their canon.
What I learned is that if you have the cheap seats, you might as well stay home and put in the CD instead. This was my first show at the Hollywood Bowl.
With respect to Bethel Music, I would have liked to hear more selections from the Eclipse album for which they were alledgedly touring in support of apart from just City of Hope. However, both Kelly Hansen and Arnel Pineda could approximate their predecessors admirably.
Hearing La-Do-Da was nice, but I would have liked to hear other tracks from other albums like City of Angels, Just the Same Way, Feelin' That Way/Anytime, All That Really Matters as well as some selections from the Steve Augeri era. I hate to say this about the music and musicians I love, but there is a reason none of them are on a major label anymore. They have all largely become nostalgia acts, but they are capable of doing better. They just seem to want to rest on their laurels.
